Rooms
Welcome to a quick tour of the rooms at
Black Badger Inn. Each room has its own unique style and theme. Two of the rooms are
distinctly American in style while the other two are more international in
flavor. Traditional folk crafts and primitive art is found throughout the
inn.
Have fun taking a look and
remember these descriptions are to whet the imagination and not give away all the charms
you will find.
MENNONITE ROOM
This room is cozy and quaint
overlooking the back gardens, with afternoon sun. The décor is based on an 1860’s
Mennonite quilt of blacks, reds and white which hangs over a queen-size bed. The private
bath is sunny and has a shower.
FOLK ROOM

Another comfortable and fanciful
American room. This room overlooks the front gardens and has morning sun. The focus of
this large room is the four poster "pineapple" queen-size bed. The room has a
papered feature wall and matching chair rail border. Valances highlight the windows and
compliments the bed and other furnishings. The bathroom features a tub and shower
combination.
BORDER ROOM
This is the largest room at Black
Badger and full of intrigue. A border of birds follows the top of the room as well as down
the corners. Many of the decorative motifs are from Asia and the Far East. The room is at once elegant and warm with a view of
the front gardens. It has a private bath with a shower.
CHOCORUA ROOM
In this charming room the walls are
painted in bold, rich colors and stenciled with flower and paisley motifs. The room
is furnished with a single and double bed, ideal for guests needing separate sleeping
accommodations. The room overlooks the back gardens.
For those guests wishing to have a
suite arrangement (great for a family of four), the Chocorua Room and Border Room can be
combined. The Border Room's bathroom acts a pass-through to both rooms. The
suite rate is $160 per night plus tax.
GUEST LOUNGE
The Inn offers a separate lounge for the use of our guests.
The guest telephone is located there. The phone is portable so you can make
calls from the privacy of your own room. A refrigerator, TV, and VCR also are
located in the lounge.
